Duke & Betty

Tonight is Duke's last night shackin' up with me & Mike! I love him to death but he's a pain in the butt. Just a typical puppy! We're out of the puppy stage and we have decided that if we ever feel the need to get/want another dog...we need to remember our week with Duke! I came home the other night from work and saw this:

How naughty!!! I guess he sort of liked the issue! Luckily, he shredded it on Midgie's bed so it was easy clean up! He has had a rough day today. He keeps throwing up. Not quite sure what his deal is. I think he tries to eat his food too quick and he wicked gags and then ends up puking! Duker the puker! So I've been cleaning that up all afternoon and evening! But I'm going to miss him a tad. He is really the cutest thing ever!! Well besides Midgie Moo!

I went to see the pyshic Betty Lipton in Portsmouth, NH. It was so much fun!!! I went with Alice and Casey. It was really interesting. I'm anxious to see if she was right in any of her "preditions". She tape records everything and you get to take it home. I have to listen to it again. I know there is stuff that I have already forgotten! So here are the highlights. She thinks I will have the baby between June 6 to June 8. She says it will be a big baby - 8 lbs. I don't think 8 lbs is big for me (I've got them birthin' hips!). But I could also go on June 12!! Scary! I don't want to go that late! She also said that I will have a hard labor but it will be a short one. And told me that I should try to take something to help with the pain - don't try to be super woman. Now I NEVER told her my birth plan - which is that I want to try have a natural birth with no drugs. But I also want to keep my options open so I'm not totally against the drugs! I'm sure when it comes down to it I will have something! Then she said the baby will be beautiful (would she really tell me if it was going to be ugly?!?!?) and will be into everything!! hahaha...yup...that's my baby! So that was basically it. Well the really interesting things for me anyways!

Oh yeah and she told me that I will need my space after I have the baby! Am I really that "predictable'?!?!?

Boy or Girl?!?!

That is the question! I have no idea. Everyone thinks I'm having a boy! There are a few people out there who think girl but the majority is boy. I guess we'll have to wait!! Everyone keeps asking me the baby's heart rate...

At 10 weeks it was really high around 175 bpm. Then it was hovering in the 160s, then it has slowly dropped to the 150s then the 140s. So who knows!! I guess you can't really tell by the heart rate! Or at least I don't believe in that method!

Yesterday was my 30 week check up! Yeah 30 weeks! 10 weeks or less to go! I feel like time is flying by. I remember it seemed like it took forever to get to 20 weeks. Now the past 10 weeks have flown by and I'm sure the next 10 will too! I just hope we have a house by then! My doctor's appointment went well! My glucose came back great but my doctor said my iron was a little low. I told her I just started retaking my prenatal vitamin and she said that should be sufficient. No need to take an iron supplement. The baby's heart rate has dropped again - not in a bad way - it was in the 130 - 140 bpm range. They were kicking once again when we trying to hear the heart beat! Oh and I asked her if she could tell where the baby was. She felt around and their head is down in my pelvic region, their back is on my left side, their butt is under my ribs and their feet (where I feel ALL the kicking) is on my right side! She said that he or she is really curled up! Which is fine by me! My friend Tarsha's baby has been kicking her in the ribs and it has been uncomfortable! So for now...my baby is just curled up and likes to kick and punch on my right side! Oh and lastly...the great weigh in. I did ok. Again I had pretty high weight gain in just 2 weeks but over all I have only put on 18 lbs and they said that my weight gain is perfect! She advised me to only gain about a pound between appointments and it's ok to not gain any weight either! I'm thinking to myself...yeah right! But I need to really crack down on what I eat at work! No more burgers, french fries, chowder, fried anything...so basically everything on our menu! That's what happens when you get to eat for FREE every DAY!

Well off to take care of my doggies! Only 4 more days with Duke! I love him but he is such a pain!

Bye bye week 29!

Thursday is the start of week 30! I am so excited! I can hardly believe its almost time for Baby Moulton to be born! Here is what the baby looks like in my belly! Oh and last night, I felt the baby move. I mean I can feel them punch and kick but I mean MOVE - SHIFT. It was weird. I don't quite know how to explain it but it was really weird, it was an odd sensation!

So alot has happened/gone on since my last post...so unfortunately...you're in for one LONG blog! I will try to keep it short and sweet!

Ok first...my parent's went on a cruise for my mom's 50th birthday! And I volunteered MONTHS ago to dog sit my bro dog, Duke. I don't know what I was thinking! Midge is not a huge fan of the Duke-ster. My mom's birthday is actually today. She turned 50!! What an old hag! So we decided to have pizza, cake & ice cream on Friday night. That was fun. We then took Duke home with us! Midge was NOT happy. He had a rough night the first night but has been good since. Midge and him are getting a long a little better but they still fight! Here is a really cute pic of him lying in Mike's chair!

Saturday was another busy day! First, I got up at 7 am because Midge was whining. Then her and Duke had to fight. Once we got over that, Midge and I ran some errands for Lindsay's shower - which was on Sunday. I had to get some flowers to make my center piece, pick up nylons (Queen Plus in case you were wondering and they didn't fit...they were too big) and a few other things! Then I decided that I would take Duke and Midge out for a walk. We were walking past Pat & Tarsha's house and we stopped by and found out that Tarsha, Trey, Lindsay and Rex were also going for a walk. So we took a ride up to the old high school and we all went for a really long walk! We were all pooped so when we got home we ate lunch and took a nap! All four of us!! Then we had to get ready for Linda's birthday! Linda's birthday was on Sunday but Paul decided to have a surprise party on Saturday. Linda turned 60! We went to the Granite Steak Grill in Rochester. That was a good time. After dinner we came home and I worked on my center piece. It came out pretty good if I don't say so my self...check it out.

So now...Sunday. Lindsay's bridal shower was held at Three Chimney's Inn in Durham, NH. It was pretty nice there! I had never been. We got there around 11 to set up the room. Here are some pictures from the shower!

We had a lot of fun and it was really nice! As you can see above...Tarsha is due in 3 weeks and I have about 10 to go! Linds has two preggers in her wedding! Well Tarsha won't be but I could be! Although I have a feeling that I am going to go in May...May 30th to be exact! I don't know why but that's what I'm feelin'!

On those lines of when I'm going to have the baby...I am going to see Betty Lipton a psychic in Portsmouth!! I can't wait. I hope she can tell me when I'm going to have the baby and maybe a little insight (hee hee) on the house situation! That this Saturday, I'll let you know how it goes!

Ok finally...a little update on my bro. Well there really isn't much of an update but he posted some pictures from Afghanistan. Here he is in his full get up! I can't imagine what it's like over there. He really loves what he does but I don't know if he really likes it over there. For one...they have NO alcohol...how is a Howard supposed to survive with out their alcohol?!?!? And he sleeps in a tent. I couldn't do it!

So there you have it!! It's been a crazy weekend...and I'm sure it will be a crazier week! Oh I have a doctor's appointment too on Wednesday! It's my 30 week appointment. I'll let you all know how that goes too! I have a video to post of Duke...he's such a ham! Here is parting photo of the little hellion!

12 weeks & counting...

Well it's official! I'm in my 3rd trimester! Wahoo! 12 weeks and counting! 82 days till my due date. Cannot wait.

Well I had my 28 week doctor's appointment yesterday. It went well. My weight gain was good, I didn't gain as much as I did last time. So that was good. I now have met every doctor at Center For Women's Health! I saw Dr. Morris. She was nice...kinda crazy but really nice. She talked really fast. I didn't quite understand her at first but then I have to switch my mind into "Howard"gear and I could understand her! She measured me and I was right on and then she listened to the heartbeat. Do you know what she said?!?! They have been telling me that we have an "active" baby. Well yesterday she said the baby was "feisty"!!!! I wanted to die! I told Mike he needs to run now and run fast! I'm feisty, the dog is feisty we do not need a feisty baby! I want a calm, laid back, relaxed baby! Don't think that will happen. I deserve it I guess!

Because I am now in my 3rd trimester, I have to go to the doctor's every 2 weeks. Kind of a pain in the butt...but I scheduled the next 3 appointments which will take me to 34 weeks! At 36 weeks I believe they will start being weekly and that's when the not so fun visits start! I also had my glucose test. It wasn't that bad. I kept hearing/reading how awful it was and then my friends and family said that it wasn't that bad. I had strict instructions of what I could not eat. I couldn't have sugared cereal, jams, juice, fruits, etc. I also had to have eaten at least an hour and half before my test. I ate for breakfast: coffee with cream no sugar, egg sandwich - toasted english muffin, fried egg, sausage & provolone cheese, and water. Then I had to drink this orange flavored drink. It tasted like the Hi-C orange drink from McDonald's only 10 times sweeter. I only had 5 minutes to drink it. The first few sips weren't bad but then it was so sugary that it was burning the back of my throat!! They gave me some water, told me I could pee as often as I needed, drink as much water as I wanted but couldn't leave the waiting area for an hour! After my hour was up they took a few vials of blood! I guess if there is a problem they will let me know and then I will have to take a 3 hour test! This test was to check for gestational diabetes.

House update....sort of

Ok so I'm sick of waiting!!! I want an answer on the house! We signed the purchase & sales on January 21st, the seller signed it on January 23rd...so that's been quite a while. Earlier this week I got an email from our processor. It was an update on the house. I was wondering why I was getting an update from her and not from our realtor!! So I called our realtor and played dumb (I think I'm pretty good at that!). She sounded very optimistic and hopeful. Which is a good sign. I guess the seller had to put together this package for the short sale. There has been someone assigned to it. It has been recommended to the next level. Whatever that means! No one seems to know! But it's progressing and every one thinks (the realtors & bank) we should remain patient...it will all work out! So that's about it. It's progressing EXTREMELY SLOWLY, I need to be patient and we better move before I push this kid out!! And I hope all this waiting isn't for nothing!

Busy baby...

Geez...the baby has been non stop for 2 days! I don't know how I feel about it. I mean it's really neat to feel them move but I think it was keeping me from sleeping last night! The baby has been kicking and punching me all day long! Let's hope they get tired out tonight and let me sleep.

I promised to get some pictures up of my updated belly...so here are a few that Mike took of me tonight - I made him take them. I was sick of taking them myself and having them come out like crap!!

91 days...

That's all there is left! I'm personally hoping for fewer! But we'll see!! I do not have any good pictures to post...I've been slacking with the photos. I will try to post some later on this week.

I had a doctor's appointment last week or something...can't remember...but anyways, it went well. The baby was moving around alot and it's heartbeat was in the 140s. Which is lower than the last time I went. I'm not gaining too much weight, although I did gain a considerable amount between my last two visits but she said it wasn't bad if we look at it overall! So I go back next Thursday (March 12) for my 28 week visit...which just so happens to be the start of my 3rd trimester!!! wahoo!! And I have to go for my glucose testing as well. Then I start going to the doctor's every 2 weeks. Fun stuff!

Mike felt the baby move for the first time this weekend! I was excited because I can feel it all the time but no one else has felt it! I think the baby is either shy or has a bit of my personality...because every time it starts moving I try to have someone feel it and as soon as their hand goes to my belly, it stops! But he finally got to feel it move! So that was exciting!

Oh I yet again, last Friday, fell. It was by far my worst fall being pregnant! I took Midge out to go to the bathroom and I fell!! I was yelling at her to get her cow (a stupid stuffed animal that she insists bring out with her every morning) and I fell on the only patch of ice in the entire driveway! The last time I fell I knew I was going to fall cause I kept slipping and I tried to brace myself for the fall. Well not this time! I fell so hard on my left butt cheek! I yelled at Midge, grabbed her and said, "Midge get your effing (only i used the real word) cow!!!!!!!" This was at 6:30 AM. I could barely move!

Yesterday the baby was active all day long. It usually gets active first thing in the morning and after my meals but yesterday I could feel him/her move all day long! They were very active. I slept like crap last night. I just couldn't fall asleep and I was up every 3 hours! I also went to the gym last night so my back is killing me and the insides of my legs are sore! So I wonder if that had anything to do with it?! Also the baby was moving all night long! And I keep waking up in full body sweats...weird.

Ok well I have to get ready for work but I wanted to give everyone a little update since it's been like 2 weeks since I've last written! I promise to post some updated pictures this week! Oh and there is NO new news on the house!!!
