Happy Valentine's Day!!

eehhh...
I was a mess today. I woke up nice and early because I had to pee so bad...well most of you know that I have been refusing to get out of bed to go the bathroom before I wake up in the morning. So at 4 AM I had to pee so bad! But I just rolled over and fell back asleep and thought I was going to explode at 6:10!! I made it just so you know. For whatever reason I thought I might be able to wear regular jeans today...WRONG. I figured they would ok, I mean they were an "oh my god" junior size. And I wore a new shirt that my mom bought me that is a little on the boobilicious side but it's cute. I also have not done laundry since last weekend and have no socks...so I decided to wear athletic socks with my dressy boots...well this awesome clothes combination drove me nuts!! The jeans were basically cutting off my circulation...I had them unbuttoned and unzipped all day...took my boots off and complained about my bra all day long...so that basically set my mood for the day! The processor for our loan was relentless today as well...She must have called me and emailed me, no lie, 10 times today! Needless to say today sucked. It has just been one thing after another all day long!
But enough about that. Last night, Midge and I went to my parent's house to visit.

Baby Shower
Wish us luck! I really want to have it here. I wanted a place (and my mom too) that was nice & cozy! I also wanted to have it somewhere that people do not usually attend! Just to mix it up a tad!!

Week 23
haven't gotten a house yet! Oh and speaking of the house...there is the latest update: according to the listing agent (the seller's real estate agent) the bank said the short sale process takes 30 to 60 days to give an answer. We put our offer in back in January (I can't remember the exact day) but it was about 3 weeks ago. So we're about 21 days into the 30 to 60 day time frame! So I'm trying to be patient but you know me...I have NO patience!
This baby is kinda freaky but that's how well formed they are at 23 weeks! They say they look and are about the same size as a small baby doll! Tuesday, February 3, 2009
My Weekend...
Friday Mike and I met with our loan officer to sign some documents and ask some questions about our loan. We learned that a short sale is more complicated and takes more time than a foreclosure! That was news that I DID NOT want to hear! We still have not heard a thing about the house. I'm getting impatient!
Saturday we went to New York for our friend Donel's wedding. I could not sleep Friday night! I think I was worried about packing and forgetting stuff! So I woke up at 5:50 AM. We left around 10 AM and it took about 4.5 hours to get there. That was an interesting ride. We went the "back way" through Vermont and over Hog Back Mountain. We stayed at the Franklin Plaza Suites & Inn in Troy, NY ( I think that was name of it).
The church was AMAZING and so was the reception!! The reception was at the Franklin Plaza, which happened to be the old Bank of Troy. So it was an old bank turned into a reception hall. It was awesome inside. The coat room was an old safe! Check it out!
Pretty cool huh?! The food was really good too...but we didn't get our entrees until 10 PM! Stacy was in the wedding so Jason, Mike, me, mum, daddy, Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Richard all sat together. Of course, because I'm pregnant it HAD to be open bar the entire reception! So needless to say it was a long night for me but it was a lot of fun!
Here is a fat-so picture of me at the wedding! Someone at work told me I was "big as a house" which offended me a little...but then they tried to make it better by saying "but you're supposed to be". That didn't really help!
We left NY on Sunday around 9:30 AM and got home around 1. It was a fun weekend. We went to Steve and Lindsay's to watch the Superbowl. And that was my weekend!!
I was pretty tired Monday morning and I was letting her highness out and she decided that she wanted to go near the road...so I walk down off the porch (which I never do in the morning) in my slippers and I fell!! I fell on my left knee first and then on my right knee and then ended up on my butt! So I'm pretty sore today! But I think I'll make it!
Here is another picture of my belly! I'm 22 weeks and there are only 18 weeks (or less ) to go!! I took these pictures myself...sorry if they aren't very good!

What a day...
I was on my way to work and around Somersworth, I started having the worst cramps ever! They felt like the pains I used to get when I had my period. And the pain got so bad that it was making my left leg go numb! So I tried repositioning myself but it wasn't helping. I got to work and it only got worse. So I called my doctor's office. They wanted me to come in and make sure everything was ok. I was supposed to have a doctor's appointment this Friday but they didn't want to wait till then. So I had to leave work to go to the doctors.
Now the last time I went to Sanford from York was when I had my ultrasound and I almost didn't make it. It took me like 50 minutes to get there. So today I gave myself an hour to get there. How long did it take? 35 minutes! So I waited in my car till about 12:45. When I walked into the office, the shades were down and they were at lunch. So I sat in an empty waiting room till 1:00! Murphy's Law.
Here is where it gets good...the nurse comes to get me and weighs me. I ask if I can take off my shoes. I was wearing heavy shoes and I didn't want the added weight! She then asks me if I have to use the bathroom. I say yes. So I go pee. She then proceeds to ask me if I left a specimen...I didn't know I was supposed to. She only asked if I had to go to the bathroom! So I answered no. But that was ok. Then we proceed to the exam room where she takes my blood pressure and asks a few questions about my cramps. She wasn't sure if the doctor (actually their new midwife) would want to do an internal exam or not. She decided to have me take my clothes off from the waist down. HA HA. I haven't shaved since my last appointment, 4 weeks ago! So I have Sasquatch legs! I was going to shave the day of my original appointment. So I wanted to die! But it gets even better. Now that I'm totally embarrassed by my super hairy legs...I look down at my feet...I'm wearing 2 different pairs of SOCKS! I wanted to die!
The midwife comes in - which by the way - took an eternity! She introduced herself and then made a comment about my mismatched socks! I was like, "I know...I had a rough morning". I never had an internal exam so I there was no reason for me to bare my hairy legs! But she did feel around and everything was fine. I guess I have a super sensitive nerve that makes my legs go numb! If it continues I will have to go to physical therapy. She then listened to the heartbeat. She said I have a happy active baby! It was really neat cause we could tell the baby was doing somersaults! It was really neat.
So I no longer have to go Friday but I now have to work on Friday because I was going for 2.5 hours today! So much for working 4 days this week! And that was my wonderful day!
I will post some pictures later on this weekend. We are going to our friend Donel's wedding in NY this weekend. I'm sure I will have a ton of pictures!

The House
k will settle on an amount that is less than amount owed. So rather than go into foreclosure - which neither the bank nor the homeowner wants - they do a short sale. And thus...the bank has to approve the offer to make sure it's a price they want to settle on! Now it's a waiting game. I'm not very patient and I can't wait to hear back!Mike and I continued looking at every single house in Farmington! We fell in love 2 foreclosed colonials. Both needing work, one more than the other. So the more we looked at houses I got less picky about where I lived. I realized I can have it all! I wanted a new house in turn key condition but those kinds of houses were not really in our price range! We wanted a house that needed about $20K worth of work to make it "livable"...the more we thought about it, the less attractive the house became. And since we're having a baby...that means daycare! Which in case you're wondering...is $175 a week!! So we stopped pursuing the foreclosed colonials. I was surfing the net at work last week (hee hee) and saw the house I HATED relisted a super low price...I called Mike and said, "that house I hated is really cheap, for that cheap I can work this house"...and there you have it...we put an offer in on this house! And now we still wait...so it isn't quite ours yet but we've got our fingers crossed! I just want this whole house thing over with. I hate it! I also hate buying cars...and I would much rather deal with sketchy car salesman than buy a house!
Here are some picutres of the living room and bedrooms!
