Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day (a day early)!! I am officially 24 weeks! It seems like 20 weeks came so quick...now it seems like forever for me to reach 30! I only have 110 days till my due date and I'm almost into my 3rd trimester! March 12 (1 month away) starts my 3rd trimester.

Here are some interesting little tid bits 'bout my baby:

*the baby's face is complete

*the baby weighs a little over a pound

*the baby's crown to rump is about 8 and a half inches

*the baby is growing it's hair and eye lashes

*the baby is getting bigger & there is no space for them to do their acrobatics

I thought that was interesting...and this is what baby Moulton could look like. They have been very active the past few days...I wonder if it has to do with all the stress?!?! This past week has been the week from hell. I'm so glad it's Friday and I have the weekend off! Although, I think I will make an appearance this weekend at the YHI. I have so much work to do. I'll be glad when I have the baby and I will get some time "off" of work! It won't really be a vacation but it might be more of a fulfilling job! We also still have not heard about the house. This is really starting to p*ss me off! I just wish the bank would decide! I do not have the patience for this...perhaps this would be a good time for me practice - I better get better at having some patience for the baby!
As most of you know, Mike helps coach the varsity basketball team in Farmington. They had a game last night...it didn't go so well...but that aside - I went to watch and the baby was enjoying the music! It kept moving the whole time. It either liked all the noise or else it hated it. But it seemed to me that they really enjoyed it.
There are so many people pregnant right now...it's crazy. I was talking with a friend about it and I think that we could fill a kindergarten class with all these babies! I think Farmington will become a class I after this little baby boom! We were also discussing what other people were having and out of all the people that we know are pregnant...I'm the only one not finding out what I'm having! I like not knowing. I feel like that will be my motivation to PUSH this baby out! I have a cousin in NC (Samantha) who is also pregnant. She's about a month behind me...she's due sometime in July. She too is NOT finding out what she is having (yay)!! I feel like more and more people are starting to go back to the "old fashion" way and not find out...but there still a lot of people who want to know so they can plan! I am no planner and I like this little element of surprise. There so are so few surprises left in life and I feel like this is the last and greatest one!
Well I have to get to bed...I'm watching my niece and nephew tomorrow morning and I will need all the sleep I can get!

eehhh...

This is how my past few days have gone and felt -&#*&dfakjsdl (#*$#(*! Yesterday was a kind of crazy day and so was today. Yesterday started off ok. I got an email from our loan officer regarding our loan and we had a crap load of documents to get into her by today...so we had to scramble last night to get everything together! Then I got a phone call from our realtor and she had spoken with the seller's agent and they are expecting an answer from his bank this week regarding our offer. I haven't heard anything since.

I was a mess today. I woke up nice and early because I had to pee so bad...well most of you know that I have been refusing to get out of bed to go the bathroom before I wake up in the morning. So at 4 AM I had to pee so bad! But I just rolled over and fell back asleep and thought I was going to explode at 6:10!! I made it just so you know. For whatever reason I thought I might be able to wear regular jeans today...WRONG. I figured they would ok, I mean they were an "oh my god" junior size. And I wore a new shirt that my mom bought me that is a little on the boobilicious side but it's cute. I also have not done laundry since last weekend and have no socks...so I decided to wear athletic socks with my dressy boots...well this awesome clothes combination drove me nuts!! The jeans were basically cutting off my circulation...I had them unbuttoned and unzipped all day...took my boots off and complained about my bra all day long...so that basically set my mood for the day! The processor for our loan was relentless today as well...She must have called me and emailed me, no lie, 10 times today! Needless to say today sucked. It has just been one thing after another all day long!

But enough about that. Last night, Midge and I went to my parent's house to visit. Midge, once again was a total BEEEOOOCCHHH with Duke. I got some cute pics of them and a cute video. I would post the video but they are kinda dark and hard to see and there is A LOT of barking from the dogs. I hope Midge gets her act together before the baby is born. She has total only child syndrome. I just hope she loves the baby!

I have become totally obsessed with my Babies R Us & Target registries! I check them every day! I noticed that someone has bought my first gift...the high chair!! Yay...my first gift! Thanks! I need to stop because it will begin to consume me!

Oh I forgot to take pictures of the Governor's Inn...but my mom is still exploring other options. I really wanted a nice baby shower...but I got thinking about it...who likes going to showers? No one...basically the only person who likes them is the one opening the gifts! So I talked to my mom about it and I would rather her take the money she was going to spend there and put it towards something useful...like the baby's room decor or other necessities! I'm no longer part of the planning committee...which is good. I will now have some element of surprise. From this point on...it's up to my mom, Mike's mom, my sister, my aunt and Stacy and Megan! It's in their hands now! I can sit back and relax! Something I don't know how to do!

Baby Shower

My mom, my aunt and I are going to check out the Govenors Inn today as a possible location for my baby shower!! My sister was supposed to go but she can't...so she'll just have to check it out later! I'm going to take pictures and I will try to remember to post them.

Wish us luck! I really want to have it here. I wanted a place (and my mom too) that was nice & cozy! I also wanted to have it somewhere that people do not usually attend! Just to mix it up a tad!!

Week 23

Well this week has been less than great. I started working 5 days a week again. I was getting too tired working 10 hour days. I'm gone for 12 hours a day and I get too tired and then get grouchy! So I'm hoping that by working 8 hour days again I might be a little more tolerable! And after I have the baby I can't keep working 4 tens...the baby would be in day care for WAY too long!

As of today...there are only 117 more days till I have the baby! I can't wait...well I can but I can't. I'm not ready to have the baby just yet. I still like my time with Mike and Midge! And we haven't gotten a house yet! Oh and speaking of the house...there is the latest update: according to the listing agent (the seller's real estate agent) the bank said the short sale process takes 30 to 60 days to give an answer. We put our offer in back in January (I can't remember the exact day) but it was about 3 weeks ago. So we're about 21 days into the 30 to 60 day time frame! So I'm trying to be patient but you know me...I have NO patience!

The baby is very active! It seems like 3 weeks ago I couldn't feel the baby move at all! Every time I went for an ultrasound, I would see the baby moving all around and couldn't feel it. Well now I can feel it all the time. Each day I feel more and more...the movement, punches and pokes get stronger and stronger! The baby seems to be an early riser like it's mumma and daddy! Every morning when Mike gets up (5 AM) I roll over to steal his side of the bed and the baby starts with their acrobatics! Which means I can't sleep until it calms down! And it seems that whenever I have to go pee...it feels the need to be extremely active and kick my bladder!

I guess the baby weighs roughly 1 pound now! If you could go inside and see baby Moulton...here is what he or she might look like!! This baby is kinda freaky but that's how well formed they are at 23 weeks! They say they look and are about the same size as a small baby doll!
Mike has not yet been able to feel the baby move. Every time I feel the baby move I try to have Mike feel it...but by the time I get to Mike, they have decided to stop moving! I guess the baby is kinda shy...not a trait they get from me!! No one really has felt the baby move. I tried to have my mom feel it...but it stopped when she put her hand on my stomach! And I even had Alice try...and again...the baby stopped moving!
Well I'm feeling awfully exhausted from my busy week! We renovated our office at work and all I've done all week is move my stuff out...move it back in...jump around from desk to desk and I'm beat! I got WAY too much exercise running around between the buildings and moving all our office junk!

My Weekend...

Where do I begin?

Friday Mike and I met with our loan officer to sign some documents and ask some questions about our loan. We learned that a short sale is more complicated and takes more time than a foreclosure! That was news that I DID NOT want to hear! We still have not heard a thing about the house. I'm getting impatient!

Saturday we went to New York for our friend Donel's wedding. I could not sleep Friday night! I think I was worried about packing and forgetting stuff! So I woke up at 5:50 AM. We left around 10 AM and it took about 4.5 hours to get there. That was an interesting ride. We went the "back way" through Vermont and over Hog Back Mountain. We stayed at the Franklin Plaza Suites & Inn in Troy, NY ( I think that was name of it).

The church was AMAZING and so was the reception!! The reception was at the Franklin Plaza, which happened to be the old Bank of Troy. So it was an old bank turned into a reception hall. It was awesome inside. The coat room was an old safe! Check it out!

Pretty cool huh?! The food was really good too...but we didn't get our entrees until 10 PM! Stacy was in the wedding so Jason, Mike, me, mum, daddy, Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Richard all sat together. Of course, because I'm pregnant it HAD to be open bar the entire reception! So needless to say it was a long night for me but it was a lot of fun!

Here is a fat-so picture of me at the wedding! Someone at work told me I was "big as a house" which offended me a little...but then they tried to make it better by saying "but you're supposed to be". That didn't really help!

We left NY on Sunday around 9:30 AM and got home around 1. It was a fun weekend. We went to Steve and Lindsay's to watch the Superbowl. And that was my weekend!!

I was pretty tired Monday morning and I was letting her highness out and she decided that she wanted to go near the road...so I walk down off the porch (which I never do in the morning) in my slippers and I fell!! I fell on my left knee first and then on my right knee and then ended up on my butt! So I'm pretty sore today! But I think I'll make it!

Here is another picture of my belly! I'm 22 weeks and there are only 18 weeks (or less ) to go!! I took these pictures myself...sorry if they aren't very good!

What a day...

I am supposed to working four 10 hour days...which means I work from 7 am to 5 pm Monday thru Thursday. This has been working out well for me...or it was until I found out I was pregnant! I have a hard time getting up at 5:30 each morning. I get so tired and I sleep like crap because I'm uncomfortable and thus not being able to get up in the morning. The past few weeks at work have been less than pleasant. We have been busting our butts to get the end of year closed up. I've worked 5 days a week for a few weeks now. So I decided yesterday that I need to get back on my regular schedule of 4 tens! This morning was a rough one for me. I got up but just could move fast enough.

I was on my way to work and around Somersworth, I started having the worst cramps ever! They felt like the pains I used to get when I had my period. And the pain got so bad that it was making my left leg go numb! So I tried repositioning myself but it wasn't helping. I got to work and it only got worse. So I called my doctor's office. They wanted me to come in and make sure everything was ok. I was supposed to have a doctor's appointment this Friday but they didn't want to wait till then. So I had to leave work to go to the doctors.

Now the last time I went to Sanford from York was when I had my ultrasound and I almost didn't make it. It took me like 50 minutes to get there. So today I gave myself an hour to get there. How long did it take? 35 minutes! So I waited in my car till about 12:45. When I walked into the office, the shades were down and they were at lunch. So I sat in an empty waiting room till 1:00! Murphy's Law.

Here is where it gets good...the nurse comes to get me and weighs me. I ask if I can take off my shoes. I was wearing heavy shoes and I didn't want the added weight! She then asks me if I have to use the bathroom. I say yes. So I go pee. She then proceeds to ask me if I left a specimen...I didn't know I was supposed to. She only asked if I had to go to the bathroom! So I answered no. But that was ok. Then we proceed to the exam room where she takes my blood pressure and asks a few questions about my cramps. She wasn't sure if the doctor (actually their new midwife) would want to do an internal exam or not. She decided to have me take my clothes off from the waist down. HA HA. I haven't shaved since my last appointment, 4 weeks ago! So I have Sasquatch legs! I was going to shave the day of my original appointment. So I wanted to die! But it gets even better. Now that I'm totally embarrassed by my super hairy legs...I look down at my feet...I'm wearing 2 different pairs of SOCKS! I wanted to die!

The midwife comes in - which by the way - took an eternity! She introduced herself and then made a comment about my mismatched socks! I was like, "I know...I had a rough morning". I never had an internal exam so I there was no reason for me to bare my hairy legs! But she did feel around and everything was fine. I guess I have a super sensitive nerve that makes my legs go numb! If it continues I will have to go to physical therapy. She then listened to the heartbeat. She said I have a happy active baby! It was really neat cause we could tell the baby was doing somersaults! It was really neat.

So I no longer have to go Friday but I now have to work on Friday because I was going for 2.5 hours today! So much for working 4 days this week! And that was my wonderful day!

I will post some pictures later on this weekend. We are going to our friend Donel's wedding in NY this weekend. I'm sure I will have a ton of pictures!

The House

Ok so Mike and I have found a house! We put in offer in on it last week and the seller accepted our offer! Now, we are waiting for his bank to approve the offer. Why you ask? This property is a "short sale". A short sale is when someone cannot afford their house anymore, they are about to loose it and bank will settle on an amount that is less than amount owed. So rather than go into foreclosure - which neither the bank nor the homeowner wants - they do a short sale. And thus...the bank has to approve the offer to make sure it's a price they want to settle on! Now it's a waiting game. I'm not very patient and I can't wait to hear back!

Here's a little history on the house. This was I believe the second or third house we had looked at. That was back in late fall...they wanted $169,900 for a 1200 sq ft ranch. There is a one car over sized garage with an attached car port and an attached breeze way. When I walked into the kitchen, I turned to Mike and had the sourest expression on my face...I HATED THIS HOUSE! The kitchen had really old appliances, a ghetto faux rock linoleum floor and hideous green counter tops. There was apple themed wallpaper with matching trim as well. Instead of a door walking into the living room it was a stucco-ed arch. The living room was nice. It had hardwood floors, a really nice bay window, a fireplace and built in book cases. Then once again, there was another stucco-ed arch way into the hallway. The rooms were nice with decent sized closets. Here is where it gets bad...the bathroom. I wanted to PUKE when I saw it. My first thought and first comment was, "I wouldn't use that bathroom even if I cleaned it 20 times!!" It was nasty! It had a gross green sink, circa 1959, a green shower, faux marble lining and the most disgusting, repulsive GREEN toilet! It was so nasty. So I told Mike, "I hate that house. There is nothing I like about. I can't live there".

Mike and I continued looking at every single house in Farmington! We fell in love 2 foreclosed colonials. Both needing work, one more than the other. So the more we looked at houses I got less picky about where I lived. I realized I can have it all! I wanted a new house in turn key condition but those kinds of houses were not really in our price range! We wanted a house that needed about $20K worth of work to make it "livable"...the more we thought about it, the less attractive the house became. And since we're having a baby...that means daycare! Which in case you're wondering...is $175 a week!! So we stopped pursuing the foreclosed colonials. I was surfing the net at work last week (hee hee) and saw the house I HATED relisted a super low price...I called Mike and said, "that house I hated is really cheap, for that cheap I can work this house"...and there you have it...we put an offer in on this house! And now we still wait...so it isn't quite ours yet but we've got our fingers crossed! I just want this whole house thing over with. I hate it! I also hate buying cars...and I would much rather deal with sketchy car salesman than buy a house!

Here are some picutres of the living room and bedrooms!
